Azerbaijan has increased marketable gas production in January 2022 by 18.3 percent, as compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the country’s Statistical Committee.
Natural gas output stood at 4.061 billion cubic meters, including 3.180 billion cubic meters of marketable gas. The country’s natural gas output rose by 12.8 percent year-on-year.
Reportedly, the country produced 2.899 million tons of crude oil, including condensate in January 2022, of which 2.886 million tons accounted for marketable oil. As such, Azerbaijan reduced crude oil, including condensate production by 5.9 percent year-on-year. Marketable oil production dropped by 6.1 percent.
The country produced 34.58 million tons of crude oil, including condensate in 2021, of which 34.51 million tons accounted for marketable oil. Natural gas output stood at 43.86 billion cubic meters, including 32.57 billion cubic meters of marketable gas.
