Review of Activities, Election of New Board Members, and Member Recognition
The agenda of the Assembly covers several key points. Members are informed about the recent achievements and future initiatives of the AHK. This informative presentation is followed by discussions on budget allocation and the approval of the annual report. New members are introduced, and their membership is formally confirmed through the presentation of membership certificates. The Members’ Assembly is also authorized to elect the Board of Directors and to approve amendments to the Charter of AHK Azerbaijan.

21.05.2024: AHK General Assembly
On 21 May 2024, the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK) held its semi-annual general assembly with over 80 participants from business and politics. Mr. Anar Hasanov, Chairman of the Board, opened the session, praised the increasing number of members and the engagement of working groups. Ambassador Dr. Ralf Horlemann reported on the intense diplomatic activities in recent months, including the visit of the Azerbaijani President to Germany and the upcoming COP29 in Azerbaijan. The planned business trip of the Eastern Committee to Baku was also announced. The assembly ended with a joint business dinner.
29.11.2023: AHK General Assembly
On 29 November 2023, around 100 representatives from various sectors gathered for the AHK’s semi-annual general assembly. Mr. Anar Hasanov informed about the positive growth in membership and the success of several online and in-person events. Guest speakers from the tourism sector, including Mr. Florian Sengstschmid from the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, participated. Mr. Heiko Schwarz from the German Embassy emphasized the importance of bilateral relations and welcomed the members. The assembly provided a platform for exchange and promotion of German-Azerbaijani economic cooperation.
17.05.2023: AHK General Assembly
On 17 May 2023, about 90 members met for the AHK’s semi-annual general assembly. Mr. Anar Hasanov praised the Chamber’s work and the admission of 14 new companies. Ambassador Dr. Ralf Horlemann highlighted the close cooperation between Germany and Azerbaijan, especially after the President’s visit to Germany. Mr. Tobias Baumann, board member, presented a report on the Chamber’s financial status and upcoming projects. The 2023 budget was unanimously approved. The event concluded with a business dinner and live music.
